35mm

35mm is my second photographic exhibition and it follows on from last summer’s successful exhibition "A year in film" which took place at Okto in Eastbourne.

I mainly use 35mm slide film for my images which is cross processed (processed in the wrong chemicals) which produces some bright popping colours and effects. I use a variety of different films and techniques to produce some unique shots.

In particular 180 degree double exposures where every day structures and buildings take on a new dimension when flipped. There is also a wall of images produced through film swaps. This technique involves a person shooting a roll of 35mm film and then rewinding it, sending it to myself where upon I reshoot the roll of film producing double exposures of a totally unique and random manner.

All the framed prints in the exhibition are printed onto Fuji Pearl Metallic paper which enhances the warmth and depth of the images.

The exhibition at Printers, 12 Station Street, Eastbourne BN21 4RG runs from the 15th January to the 31st March 2011 and is totally FREE!

The private view takes place on Friday 4th February from 5.00pm.
